The dentist explained how you can quickly and effectively get rid of bad breath after eating lunch at work.
To keep the oral cavity healthy longer, dentists recommend brushing your teeth twice a day. But there should be at least 12 hours between cleanings. But how to protect the teeth between this period? What to do if your mouth smells bad after eating, and you really need to get rid of the bad smell?
– Throughout the day, we eat different foods that cause our teeth to deteriorate. But most of all, people do not like the smell of their mouth after eating, – explains dentist Ihor Lisnykyu. Here are some simple tips on how to get rid of an unpleasant smell after a meal:
Method #1. Chewing gum.
Where would you go without it, everyone knows that it perfectly freshens the breath after a meal. The dentist advises to chew those without sugar.
Method #2. Rinsing.
Rinse your mouth after every meal. You can buy special dental solutions in a pharmacy or mouth fresheners in a supermarket. Plain water is also suitable for rinsing, according to dentists.
Method #3. Cheese for a snack
After you eat, eat a slice of cheese. If you eat it at the end of a meal, increased salivation will occur, which will reduce the risk of tooth decay.
Method #4. Drink coffee.
This method good for getting rid of bad breath. However, dentists warn that tea and coffee harm the teeth, because of them the enamel darkens.
Method #5. Less sweets.
Experts advise not to snack on sweets. . They have many components that disturb the condition of the oral mucosa. It is better to replace them with vegetables or fruits.
