British doctors advise to constantly eat the Mediterranean diet. It does not require strict restrictions, but suggests the replacement of unhealthy products with more useful ones.

The Mediterranean diet does not involve a complete rejection of fats – the body needs them for normal work. British experts recommend replacing animal fats with olive or rapeseed oil. Many useful substances are found in fatty sea fish, such as herring or mackerel.

Nutritionists advise to replace regular bread and pasta with whole grains, and meat with seafood. It is recommended to reduce the consumption of dairy products to a minimum. Also, doctors advise to reduce sweets and pastries to a minimum.
