As you know, no one will refuse fried potatoes. This is a dish that everyone loves. And potatoes prepared according to this recipe are eaten with pleasure and very quickly.
For cooking, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 kilogram of potatoes
- 2 onions
- a piece of fresh or salted lard
- salt and pepper.
Cooking method
- Wash, peel, and dry the potatoes with paper towels.
- Water absorbs oil, and it “shoots”, so the potatoes should not be wet.
- Cut the lard into slices and send it to a hot frying pan.
- While the lard is browning, cut the potatoes into strips.
- Put the potatoes in a frying pan to the lard, add the onion.
- Fry the potatoes for 5-7 minutes, constantly turning so that the lard and onions did not burn.
- It is important to fry the potatoes over high heat so that they do not boil or languish, but rather are fried.
