Benefits and harms: how much meat should you eat per day

Healthy eating experts have named the amount of meat that people can eat per day in order not to get sick.

Employees from the University of Eastern Finland believe that people should not abuse meat. Too much of this product is harmful to health.

Nutritionists advise men not to eat more than 70 grams of meat per day. You can’t completely give up meat products, as they contain animal proteins that are important for the body. Of course, everything is conditional, if you eat a shashlik on the weekend, nothing bad will happen. We are talking about daily nutrition. For women, 50 grams per day is enough.

Most often, health problems arise in men who regularly eat more than 200 grams of meat per day. Such men live much less. Therefore, doctors advise to feel the measure, reducing meat consumption every year, and monitor your diet in general.

– All people need to eat meat, regardless of gender. But for men, animal protein is more important for strengthening health and muscles, – said nutritionist Juha Halla.
