Doctors have named the consequences of completely abandoning bread. Excluding this product from the diet reduces immunity.

Doctors reminded that bread contains many important elements: B vitamins, potassium, magnesium, calcium and other substances useful for the body, in particular those that support the immune system.

However, the most important component is fiber, which is necessary for the normal functioning of the body. At the same time, experts reminded that bread made from fine flour can be excluded from the diet, since it contains practically no useful substances.

It is believed that bread contains a lot of calories, and giving it up will help you avoid gaining extra pounds. According to experts, this is only partially true. White bread made from fine flour has a high calorie content. Its glycemic index is 85-90, which is comparable to the index of milk chocolate.

Medical experts have emphasized that an index of less than 55 is considered low, and an index above 70 is considered high. Therefore, the choice of bread can significantly affect physical condition and energy.

Whole grain bread is rich in vitamins, including B1, which has a positive effect on the body's functioning. In addition, it contains vitamin B2, which helps improve sleep quality, and vitamin PP, which promotes brain performance.

Completely eliminating bread from the diet can negatively affect immunity. However, this does not apply to whole grain bread, which contains folic acid, which is necessary for supporting the immune system and cell renewal.

Scientists have also proven that moderate consumption of whole grain bread has a beneficial effect on digestion due to its fiber content. However, excess consumption of such bread can cause bloating and flatulence, while white bread can cause constipation.
