Egg appetizer: the whole “secret” is in the marinade

Eggs are part of many people's basic food choices, as they are inexpensive, easy to prepare, and have a pleasant taste. Chicken eggs also have a high energy value and are an excellent source of protein. Most often, women simply boil the product, make scrambled eggs or an omelet. But you can cook a lot of simple and unusual dishes based on eggs. For example, they can be pickled, turning them into an appetizing snack.

How to do it

First of all, you need to boil the eggs hard, cool them in water and peel them. In the meantime, you can make the marinade. Add about 750 ml of clean water, a tablespoon of salt and sugar, a few peppercorns, two or three bay leaves and the same amount of cloves to the pan.

The liquid should boil.

After that, you need to send one chopped onion and a small beet. The root crop also needs to be chopped, not grated.

The mixture is cooked for 15 minutes at a moderate boil.

It remains to pour 100 ml of vinegar, cook for a few minutes and turn off. The resulting marinade should be cooled.

Take 5 cloves of garlic, cut them into 2 parts and send them to a jar to prepare the appetizer. Next, the eggs “set off”. After that, we “send” the onions and beets and pour the resulting aromatic mixture.

This recipe is designed for 6 standard-sized chicken eggs.

The jar should be closed and left at room temperature for several hours. Then we send it to the refrigerator for 48 hours.

A wonderful appetizer is ready.
