How can a Ukrainian live without lard? This is by no means an impossible story. The only question is that it should be soft and tasty. Sometimes it turns out hard, which spoils the impression of the most delicious snack. The housewives told how to soften it.

What to do with lard

Yes, lard does not always melt in your mouth, but this is not critical. It can be fixed a little. First, prepare the lard. You need to clean the salt layer with water. Cut into portioned pieces. Distribute the garlic and add spices.

Put the lard in a bowl and add 100 ml of water. You also need a few bay leaves. Cover with a lid. Please note that the dishes must be such that they can be placed in the microwave. Put on heating for 3 minutes. Set the power level to the highest.

Then take it out, drain the liquid, put it in the microwave again for a few minutes. After that, the lard will become much tastier. And the softness will be significantly improved. Delicious!
