Specialists in the field of nutrition have voiced a number of reasons why kefir should be included in the diet. They also named reasons why it is worth limiting its use, especially for those who have been diagnosed with health problems.

There are also some restrictions for a certain category of people. For example, people with impaired cardiovascular function are recommended to exclude kefir with a high fat content from the menu, limiting themselves to options with a minimum amount of it.

Those who suffer from candidiasis and digestive diseases should also be careful. In such cases, it is worth giving up the fermented milk drink, as well as those who suffer from lactose intolerance. In all other cases, the optimal daily intake of kefir should not exceed 1-2 glasses.
