Making your diet balanced can be difficult. That's when multivitamins come to the rescue. But how do you know for sure that you need to take them?
Lexi Moriarty, owner of Expert Nutrition and Wellness, LLC, shared what signs indicate that your body needs multivitamins.
Fatigue and breathing problems. These symptoms can say a lot. For example, that you have anemia or lack iron. In this case, taking a multivitamin with iron can help.
Brittle hair and nails. They can indicate a lack of iron, zinc, biotin, and B vitamins.
Frequent illnesses. If you catch colds more often than three to four times a year on average, your body may lack important nutrients. It is useful to take vitamins A, C, and D to support your immune system.
Injury susceptibility. Your bones may lack vitamin D and calcium.
