Doctors have named human habits that negatively affect the work of their kidneys. They reminded that this organ has an important function in the body – blood purification.

Not all people know that their habits harm the paired organ. Smoking and drinking alcohol negatively affect the work of the kidneys. The organ has to work in an intensified mode to cleanse the body of many toxins.

Constant lack of sleep also negatively affects the work of the kidneys. If a person does not have enough sleep, then the renewal process is not carried out to the full extent. Caffeinated drinks have diuretic properties. After drinking them, the kidneys begin to work harder, thereby placing an additional burden on them.

A sedentary lifestyle leads to blood stagnation. Circulation is restored when a person has physical activity, for example, regular warm-ups.

The paired organ is negatively affected by a lack of vitamin B6. It is replenished by eating soybeans, wheat grains, avocados, bananas, poultry, fish, liver, spinach.

If the bladder is not emptied for a long time, all this harms the kidneys. As a result, incontinence and kidney failure may develop. Excess sodium also has a negative effect, leading to a water-salt imbalance.

Excess protein present in the body is excreted through the kidneys, increasing the burden on them. If the organ is not able to cope, stones often form.

It is important to remember to drink enough water. However, it is not recommended to replace the liquid with tea or juices.
