Heart failure may be the cause of morning dizziness

As people age, they become more prone to blood pressure problems that cause morning sickness.

What can cause morning dizziness after waking up from sleep?

Low blood pressure (hypotension ). During night sleep, blood tends to accumulate in the body. When a person wakes up and gets out of bed, blood rushes to the abdomen and legs, causing a drop in blood pressure. Normally, the body can quickly restore its balance, but people may no longer have such a speed of reactions – they often feel dizzy in the morning when they get out of bed very sharply.

In addition, low blood pressure (orthostatic hypotension), which causes dizziness, can occur against the background of taking certain drugs (for example, antidepressants or diuretics), as well as with heart problems or nervous disorders system.

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. This disorder spoils the lives of people who have balance problems in the inner ear. In the case of dizziness, it can be felt when the body position changes – for example, when a person turns over in bed.

Sleep apnea. People with apnea stop breathing during sleep, which interferes with the body ( specifically the brain) to receive a sufficient amount of oxygen – this, in turn, provokes a feeling of dizziness.

Heart failure. In heart failure, the myocardium does not can pump enough blood for the body's needs. This problem can cause spikes in blood pressure that can lead to imbalance and dizziness, medical experts said.
