If you want to cook something tasty from a healthy vegetable, and you're tired of the usual borscht and vinaigrettes, try making this dish. It is quick and easy to prepare, and it turns out very satisfying.
To prepare, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 beet;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 onion;
- 1 egg;
- 2 tablespoons of flour;
- half a teaspoon of salt;
- half a teaspoon of pepper.
Preparation
Finely chop the beets or grind them in a blender.
Grate the onion and carrots and add them to the beets.
Salt and pepper the dish, add the egg and flour.
Put the porridge in a frying pan and fry for 5-7 minutes on each side.
You will get beetroot cutlets, which are much cheaper than meat ones. Also low-calorie.
If the cutlets fall apart in the pan, add a couple more tablespoons of semolina to all the ingredients.
