How long will the power outages last: Ukrenergo warned Ukrainians

Today, December 25, the aggressor country Russia once again cynically struck powerful blows at Ukraine's energy sector.

The National Energy Company “Ukrenergo” reported that as a result of a massive missile and drone attack, restrictive measures were forced to be introduced.

“The need for economical consumption will remain throughout the day. Do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time when the light appears on schedule,” the company reported.

Due to damage caused by the Russian attack, measures to limit consumption were forced to be introduced.

“Currently, emergency restoration work has already begun at all facilities where the security situation allows. Power engineers are doing everything possible to restore the operation of the damaged equipment as soon as possible,” Ukrenergo added.

Power engineers are currently continuing to restore the Ukrainian power system – there is a significant capacity deficit in it. Therefore, it is necessary to consume electricity economically.

“Today, hourly power outages will be in effect until the end of the day. You can find the schedules of forced restrictions in your region on the website and official pages of the regional energy company on social networks. Please do not turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time when the light appears on schedule,” the company noted.
