herring fillet
eggs
processed cheese
beets
mayonnaise
onion
herbs to taste
Preparation:
Boil the beets and eggs until cooked. Peel and cut the eggs in half and carefully remove the yolks. This will be the base for the filling. Grate the processed cheese on a fine grater, and the peeled beets on a coarse grater. Mix them with the yolks, add a spoonful of mayonnaise and salt.
Mix everything thoroughly until you get a homogeneous, light mass. Using a pastry bag or a bag with a cut corner, fill the whites with the filling. Place a piece of herring on top, an onion ring and decorate with herbs if desired. Perfect for a festive table. Enjoy!
