How to cook buckwheat in the oven without boiling the cereal in water

A special buckwheat recipe allows you to cook porridge in the oven, without prior preparation and boiling the groats in water. It seems that the porridge will turn out dry, but in fact the dish can conquer with its unsurpassed taste, unusual appearance and forever enter the diet.
For cooking you will need:
- 350 gr. buckwheat;
- 2 onions;
- 2 carrots;
- salt, pepper to taste;
- 2 chicken fillets;
- 600 ml of water or broth;
- 200 g of hard cheese.
How to cook
First, peel and cut the onion into medium cubes, and grate the carrots on a large grater. Fry them one by one in a frying pan, then mix and simmer over medium heat for 7-8 minutes.
Before removing from the stove, add salt.
Wash the buckwheat, cut the chicken fillet into medium cubes, salt and add spices (to taste), mixing well.
Transfer the fried vegetables to a baking dish, then the chicken fillet, and then the buckwheat groats in an even layer.
Add water (broth), bring to a boil, add salt, cover with a lid or foil and bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
Then take out the porridge, remove the foil, sprinkle the buckwheat with grated cheese, cover and put in the oven for 10 minutes (temperature 160 degrees).
A few minutes before the dish is ready, remove foil to brown the cheese, then serve.
