How to cook cabbage fritters

You can please your family members not only with traditional pancakes: a wonderful dish is also made with cabbage. Both early vegetables and old-crop cabbage are suitable for the recipe. As a result, you can get a tasty and healthy dish that everyone will like.

What products should be prepared

  • about 300 g of cabbage;
  • a small onion;
  • an egg;
  • a glass of wheat flour (can be replaced with semolina);
  • a small spoon of baking powder;
  • salt and spices at your discretion;
  • a bunch of herbs (dill, parsley).

How to cook

First, you need to chop the cabbage with a knife. You can, of course, use a blender, but then you are more likely to make cabbage cutlets, not pancakes.

The vegetables need to be transferred to a container, salted and “crushed” a little. The cabbage should release its juice. This will determine how much flour or semolina you will add to achieve a uniform structure.

Add the chicken egg and sour cream.

Chop the greens and smaller onions, add to the cabbage. At this stage, add the necessary spices.

Combine the flour with the baking powder and add in portions. When the dough resembles pancakes, you can start frying.

In general, you need to spend one and a half minutes on each side. You need to cook the dish over medium heat.
