How to freeze strawberries and raspberries so you don't get an “unappealing mass”

In winter, when there is no opportunity to enjoy fresh fruits and berries, frozen preparations come to the rescue. However, often instead of firm pieces of strawberries and raspberries after defrosting, housewives get an unattractive mass. To avoid this, you should freeze juicy berries correctly.

Details

To do this, before sending the berries to the cold, you need to thoroughly wash them, remove the stalks and get rid of damaged specimens.

Then, the strawberries and raspberries should be spread out in a single layer on a flat surface. A cutting board or any flat plate is perfect for this.

Only after that should you send the berries to the freezer.

When the strawberries and raspberries are frozen, you can safely send them to packaging bags or containers.

If you want to make them sweeter, you can sprinkle the berries with sugar.

Fruits frozen in this form retain their rich taste and unique aroma.
