How to get rid of odor from clothes without washing

Clean clothes should exude a faint, barely perceptible aroma of cleanliness and freshness, and not give off the smell of tobacco, sweat, food, or smoke after barbecues. Sometimes washed clothes that have been stored in a closet for a long time can smell like mold. There are three simple ways to get rid of an unpleasant odor from clothes without washing. To start, hang the item on the balcony or hang it in a room near an open window.

Vodka with water

A well-known method, but always effective. The drink is good because it neutralizes bacteria that emit an unpleasant odor, but after drying, the alcoholic beverage does not leave a smell.

Therefore, pour vodka (1/3) into a spray bottle and dilute it with water. Then spray the clothes and hang them on the balcony for a better effect.

Freezer

The cold eliminates unpleasant odors well. The thing is placed in a bag and sent to the freezer for a few hours. Then take it out, warm it up with an iron, a battery or the sun and enjoy the absence of stench.

Cat litter

Granules are designed to mask the unpleasant odor coming from the cat's litter box. The litter will cope with mold or the aroma of smoke just as well. Some housewives put a bag of pellets in the closet. The granules absorb the unpleasant odor. For a better effect, add a couple of drops of essential oil to the bag.
