Crispy and aromatic pickled cucumbers are the perfect addition to any table. They go perfectly with meat dishes, for example, with kebabs, and are also suitable as an addition to side dishes.
These cucumbers are very easy to prepare. However, it is important to correctly calculate the amount of ingredients.
You need to take:
- cucumbers – 1 kg;
- salt – 1 tbsp. l.;
- sugar – 40 g;
- vegetable oil and lemon juice – 40 g each;
- garlic – 7 cloves;
- pepper, herbs.
How to cook
Everything is very simple. Anyone with no experience in cooking can handle the task.
It is better to choose vegetables that are small in size and firm.
They should be placed in a container and covered with sugar, salt, herbs, spices, and chopped garlic. Everything should be seasoned with lemon juice and oil.
Everything should be mixed well. Then the container should be closed with a lid and placed in the refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight.
The spicy vegetables can be served the next day.
Such an appetizer can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
