0
Did you know that semolina can be not only boiled, but also fried. This is how you get a dish that tastes like halva from the available ingredients.
To do this, you will need:
- 320 g of semolina;
- 400 ml of milk;
- 200 g of sugar;
- 70 g of vegetable oil;
- 80 g of butter;
- 80 g of walnuts.
Preparation
First, pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and add butter to it. Wait until the butter melts, and pour in the semolina.
Mix the semolina with the oil. Now you can add the walnuts – they must be chopped first.
The resulting mixture should be fried over medium heat, stirring constantly.
As soon as the mass acquires a brown-golden hue, pour a glass of milk into the pan. Stir quickly and add the second glass, also stirring constantly.
It remains to add a glass of sugar. Continue stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Spread the fried semolina into molds and tamp well. Wait for the mixture to cool and turn the molds onto a plate. You can decorate the semolina “sticks” with the remaining walnuts.
A delicious and unusual dessert is ready.
