How to make homemade pasta without eggs

Can you make delicious pasta even without eggs? That's how the taste will pleasantly surprise you. The dish turns out tender, elastic and is perfect for those who follow a vegan diet or just want to try something new.

Ingredients:

  • flour (wheat or semolina) – 200 g
  • water (warm) – 100 ml
  • olive oil – 1 tbsp. l.
  • salt – a pinch.

Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt and oil. Gradually pour in warm water, kneading the dough. It should be soft, but not sticky. Knead for 8-10 minutes so that the gluten opens. Cover the finished dough with cling film and leave to “rest” for 30 minutes.

Roll the dough into a thin layer and cut into strips of the desired width: from tagliatelle to fettuccine (it's better to Google it visually). The pasta can be cooked immediately or dried. Boil in salted water for 2-3 minutes, and then serve with your favorite sauce. By the way, such pasta goes well with vegetable or tomato dressings.
