How to make shortcrust pastry for 35 tartlets

Tartlets made from shortcrust pastry according to a homemade recipe are much tastier. With them, you will simply become a snack guru. With this recipe, you can make at least 30 tartlets. Make small ones, up to 5 cm in diameter. This is the perfect size for a snack with a delicious filling.
Ingredients
You will need the following products for cooking:
- wheat flour — 320-350 g;
- butter — 200 g;
- chicken egg — 1 pc.;
- salt.
How to cook
The butter must be frozen and cut into cubes. Be sure to sift the wheat flour. Never skip this step, because sifting enriches it with oxygen. This makes the pastry fluffier and lighter.
Use your hands to mix the flour, butter, egg, and salt. The result should be a homogeneous and smooth dough. Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.
The chilled dough should be rolled out thinly on the table. Grease the molds in which you will bake the tartlets with butter and place the dough in them. Pierce with a fork in several places.
The tartlets are baked at 200 degrees until golden brown for 20 minutes. The filling for them is of your choice. Enjoy!
