Rice is often prepared as a side dish. It is served with fish, meat, and vegetable dishes. Gravies and sauces go very well with it. Sometimes after a meal, part of the side dish remains, which can be reheated the next day. How to do this so that it becomes crumbly, and not stuck together in one lump.
Do everything according to plan in a frying pan
In a frying pan, you need to heat the oil and put the rice in it. Take a fork, not a spatula, to carefully break up all the lumps. During the mixing process, the rice will absorb the oil. If you see excessive dryness, add a little broth or water. That's it, your side dish is ready to serve.
How to reheat in the microwave
If you don't want to reheat the side dish in a frying pan, you can do it in the microwave. Take a deep bowl that can be placed in such a device. Also, carefully break the lumps with a fork. After that, cover with a special lid or another plate, put in the microwave for 1 minute at maximum power. Then remove the lid and heat for another 2 minutes.
How to reheat in the oven
The rice is spread on a baking sheet (baking dish), which should be greased with oil. Distribute the side dish over the surface, breaking up the lumps. The more carefully this is done, the better the result will be. Add a little water or broth. Just a few tablespoons. Cover the baking sheet with foil and warm the rice for 10 minutes.
These methods will help warm the rice and make it appetizing for a second meal. Considering that butter and broth were added in the process, the side dish becomes twice as tasty.
