Nutritionists debunked myths about the benefits of celery, chocolate and freshly squeezed juice

There are many misconceptions about healthy eating and the beneficial properties of some products. Nutritionists decided to debunk some of the myths related to celery, chocolate and freshly squeezed juice.

American nutritionist Lily Souter said that many people include celery in their diet, considering it “a remedy against excess calories”.

In reality, greens bring as much energy to the body as any other product: therefore, you can burn extra pounds only through physical exercises and a strict diet.

Similarly, the benefits of freshly squeezed juice, which contains much less trace elements and vitamins than whole fruits and vegetables.

Chocolate is considered a traditional aphrodisiac, a substance that increases libido and strengthens the reproductive system. In reality, it does not have such an outstanding effect. Although chocolate promotes the release of endorphins, the high concentration of calories can have a bad effect on the figure.

This is especially true for bars with added milk, nuts and other sweeteners, while the bitter natural product can be consumed in moderation.
