Nutritionists do not advise training on an empty stomach

Experts have refuted the benefits of “hungry” physical exercises.

Many people believe that it is best to exercise slightly hungry. Supposedly, this way you can lose weight faster, and nothing prevents you from easily and effectively performing sports exercises. Supporters of this rule believe that it is wise to eat after training.

However, among nutritionists and dietitians there are also those who have doubts.

– Recent studies by scientists from Stockholm have shown that there is actually no difference whether you go to training full or hungry. It turned out that “hungry” sports are equivalent to “full” physical activity. All you need is to let the body adapt to the new regime and there will be no difference. Therefore, people who do physical exercises do not need to starve themselves. Because of training on an empty stomach, many people feel weak and exhausted, and even headaches can occur, – assures the dietitian.
