Find out which bread is the healthiest.
On average, one Ukrainian eats almost 100 kg of bread per year, according to the State Statistics Service. White, gray, black, with bran – everyone chooses a different one and stores it in their own way.
Dietitians say that the healthiest is rye bread. It is well stored and cleanses the body due to its high fiber content. Bread with bran and various seeds will help strengthen the immune system.
Wheat bread was at the bottom of the nutritional rating. Bleaches and baking powders are most often added to such a loaf. They only make us feel bad, just like toasted bread.
You should also avoid the yeast-free bread that is popular today. This is a pure marketing ploy, professional bakers say. It is better to bake bread without yeast at home, then you can be safe.
It is better to buy bread in branded stores or markets, but in no case at spontaneous markets. There, almost every second loaf is a fake, experts say.
There will also be trouble from bread in bags, especially sliced. The film creates a greenhouse effect and the loaf quickly becomes moldy. To prevent this, manufacturers add special substances to the dough.
It is best to store bread in paper bags or cloth. And if in a bread box, then only in a plastic one. Mold and fungus develop quickly in a wooden one. The loaf can also be sliced and frozen.
To prevent bread from spoiling, it is better to buy it in small portions and eat it immediately. The recommended daily allowance for an adult is 2-3 slices. This way you will not gain weight and will get the necessary dose of vitamins.
