Perfect and fluffy garlic donuts for borscht

Borshch and dumplings are simply a holy combination in Ukrainian cuisine. If you also can't imagine one without the other, then you definitely need this recipe.

Ingredients

You will need the following products for cooking:

  • milk – 250 ml;
  • yeast – 7 g;
  • salt – 1 tsp;
  • flour – 470-500 g;
  • oil – 2 tbsp.;
  • egg – 1 pc.
  • butter – 30 g;
  • garlic – 1 clove;
  • fresh herbs.

How to cook

Heat the milk. Add salt and yeast to it, as well as an egg, sifted flour. Now you can knead the soft dough. Pour a little oil on it, cover with a clean towel and put in a warm place. The dough should stand for an hour.

The finished dough should be divided into parts that will be future buns. Form each into a ball. Put a small piece of butter in the middle and seal the ball.

Put the buns in a baking dish, cover with foil and let stand for another 30 minutes. It remains to put in the oven for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.

The finished buns should be greased with melted butter with herbs and garlic. Delicious!
