The level of cholesterol in the blood largely depends on a person's diet. There are certain products that help lower the score.

Fruits and berries

Berries such as blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries are rich in soluble fiber. and contain little sugar. Apples, bananas and pears also contain soluble fiber, but they have more sugar.

Fish

Fatty cuts of meat, including beef, pork, veal and lamb should be replaced with fatty fish such as salmon, herring, tuna or mackerel. These foods contain anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids and polyunsaturated fats that help lower LDL cholesterol.

Olive oil and avocado
