“Royal Cuisine”: How to Cook One of Elizabeth II's Favorite Dishes

Darren McGrady, a former head chef who worked at Buckingham Palace from 1982 to 1993, is happy to share the recipe for the mouth-watering and incredibly delicious breakfast prepared for Elizabeth II. You will be amazed at how easy it is to prepare!
The dish is called kegeri. It consists of fish, rice and eggs.
The chef commented:
“I have had to cook this dish most often.”
Prepare the following products for cooking:
- boiled eggs – 3 pcs.;
- smoked haddock – 700 g;
- cream – 200 ml;
- bay leaves – 2 pcs.;
- long grain rice – 1 tbsp.;
- curry powder – 1 tsp. spoon;
- parsley – a small bunch;
- pepper and salt – to taste.
Now let's move on to the step-by-step preparation of kedzhera:
- Bring the bay leaves and haddock to a boil. Pour in the cream and cook for about 7 minutes.
- Remove the skin from the fish and cut into small pieces.
- Pour the rice, curry into the water with the cream, pepper and salt to taste. Cook until cooked.
- Spread the rice to the fish, add the boiled eggs cut in half to the plate. Mix.
- Serve the dish, sprinkling with fresh parsley.
