As is known, lack of sleep and stress can have a negative impact on health, including the risk of premature death. Scientists have found out for whom short sleep poses the greatest threat.
Experts conducted a study in which they monitored the condition of a certain group of people aged 25 to 65. The experiment lasted about 18 years, and about 2,000 subjects suffered from hypertension. The disease in question is quite dangerous in itself, but in combination with lack of sleep and regular disturbances, the level of threat increases sharply. According to researchers, hypertensive subjects who did not receive enough healthy sleep had a threefold higher risk of becoming a victim of heart disease.
It is noted that stress is a specific condition directly related to work. It can be characterized as the presence of a high degree of responsibility without the right to make decisions.
