The British National Health Service has launched a screening program to help detect early signs and determine the likelihood of health problems that can also increase the risk of dementia.

In the UK, people aged 40 to 74 , who do not have diabetes, heart or kidney problems, and who have not had a stroke, can get a free comprehensive checkup every five years.
