A side dish like potatoes is popular in fast food restaurants. The dish has a consistency that is usually impossible to repeat when preparing vegetables at home. So, the surface of the potato is ruddy and crispy, and the inside is very soft. However, this does not mean that you can only enjoy such a dish in cafes or restaurants.
It is quite possible to prepare perfect potatoes at home. However, you need to follow a recipe that villagers know about. If everything is done correctly, the dish will turn out much more appetizing than fast food.
Country-style potato recipe
First, you need to prepare the potatoes. Approximately 6-7 tubers need to be thoroughly rinsed with water, and then cut into medium-sized pieces.
Furthermore, you need to get rid of excess moisture. To do this, use a paper towel.
The dry potato pieces need to be placed in a deep container. Six chopped garlic cloves should be sent there.
The resulting vegetable mixture is poured with 100 ml of olive oil, and after adding spices (it is better to use rosemary), it is thoroughly mixed.
The mixture is spread on a baking sheet. The latter should be placed in a preheated oven for 20 minutes. The device must be set to the highest possible temperature.
The result will be a dish that combines external crispness and internal tenderness.
It is best to eat such potatoes with a sauce made from paprika and pepper.
