Tomato seasoning with bell pepper for first courses, dumplings, spaghetti

Tomato seasoning should always be in the household. This is the product that will come in handy for potato dishes, cabbage rolls, and for frying with borscht. You can not even continue to list the culinary masterpieces, to which it is appropriate to add tomato seasoning with bell pepper. Cook once, and then at the right moment it will be like a find. A jar of seasoning is a time-saver in the kitchen near the stove. The recipe is simple and affordable.

What you need to prepare

List of products you need to prepare:

  • tomatoes – 4 kg;
  • bell pepper – 1 kg;
  • hot pepper – 1 pc.;
  • bunch of dill;
  • bunch of parsley;
  • salt – 2 tbsp.;
  • sugar – 2 tbsp.;
  • vegetable oil – 40-50 ml.

Cooking process

Start the preparation by finding the right container. It needs to be washed and sterilized. You can use jars with screw-on lids, they are easier to use.

Wash the vegetables and herbs well under running water. Peel the pepper from the stalk and the middle with the seeds. Pass the tomatoes and bell pepper through a meat grinder. To feel the taste of the particles, use a nozzle with large holes.

Chop the parsley and dill, pour them into the vegetable mass. Pour vegetable oil into the container and add salt and sugar. Put on the stove, mix the mass well so that the flavors are evenly distributed. Bring to a boil, but not intensively. It is not necessary for everything to actively boil. Stir periodically.

The mass should warm up on the fire for 8-10 minutes. Then turn off the heat and adjust the flavor to the desired condition using salt and sugar. This point is especially important if the tomatoes are sour. Boil the vegetable mass for another 5 minutes.

Now pour the tomato-pepper sauce into jars and close the lids. Turn them upside down and leave them for a few hours. That's it, the seasoning is ready. It will be delicious in winter!
