For example, squats with a barbell or a rowing machine can cause discomfort in the back. The list of such exercises also includes deadlifts, incline bench presses, and hyperextensions. If you don't follow the correct technique, your back will start to hurt.
The lumbar muscles can be injured due to excessive strain, muscle weakness, or strain. It's best to exercise with a trainer, especially if you're a beginner. In some cases, physical activity can worsen existing pain or aggravate conditions that have been latent.
These include muscle inflammation, hernia, pinched nerve root, spinal deformity, and other dangerous diseases. If you feel pain while exercising in the gym, you should first stop exercising, and then try to find out the cause of the discomfort. See a doctor and describe all your symptoms.
But you shouldn't self-medicate or simply relieve symptoms. Some painkillers can only worsen the course of the disease. Also, don't try to warm up the area where you feel pain. Bending and twisting won't help relieve the discomfort either.
