What to do with stepchildren from tomatoes: many gardeners do not know about this

Cut tomato stepchildren do not have to be thrown into the compost pile, they can be used more rationally.

Experienced summer residents have named where else you can use the distant shoots of this crop.

Propagation

Some gardeners use tomato stepchildren to expand the tomato plantation. This allows you to restore the number of bushes if some of them have fallen victim to the cold.

To propagate tomatoes using stepsons, cut the stems on the sides to reveal roots. Pour a little water into a small container – 2-3 cm deep. After about 5 days, roots will appear and the plant can be transplanted into the soil.
