Where to plant zucchini to get a double harvest

A double harvest of zucchini is not a myth or fiction, but a real reality. You just need to know where to plant the vegetable.

Details

For this, zucchini is planted not just in fertilized soil or a greenhouse, but on an ordinary compost pile. The plant feels great in such conditions.

A compost pit will provide it with everything it needs thanks to the high level of organic matter contained in it. In addition, the soil there is not just loose, but fertile.

A compost pile (or pit) should also be considered as a warm bed – a life hack that is gaining more and more popularity in agricultural circles every year.

How to plant zucchini

Preparation should begin no later than a week before planting. The pile should be loosened, any vegetation that has not rotted away should be removed, and the rotted compost (40 centimeters deep) should be removed from the center. It will be needed, but later.

The resulting hole should be lined with freshly cut grass, then sprinkled with rotted compost, which is sprinkled with garden soil on top.

The technology allows the grass to rot, releasing heat and warming the soil. Thanks to this, the zucchini will grow like wildfire, all that remains is to water them in a timely manner.

You can plant sprouted zucchini seeds or seedlings.
