You can say goodbye beautifully: three Ukrainian phrases to replace the banal “bye”

The word “until” does not exist in the Ukrainian language, since it is borrowed from Russian. Therefore, it is more appropriate to use Ukrainian equivalents.

For example, one of such expressions is “happiness”. This is not only a way to say goodbye, but also to wish the interlocutor all the best. You can also say “good luck”, “have a good trip” or “good luck”.

Instead of “bye” the adverb “goodbye” is often used. . It is important to remember that in writing these are two separate words. If you are addressing someone as you, it is appropriate to use the phrase “See you soon”.

Another variant of a beautiful farewell in Ukrainian is “Forgive(te)”. If you plan to meet a person during the day, you can say “No goodbye”.
