110-year-old American woman says she will live to be 110 years old

A resident of the American city of Durham (North Carolina) Katherine Ferrell celebrated her 110th birthday. The long-liver was born in 1912 and has seen a lot over the centuries, from the Great Depression to the pandemic. Reflecting on her life, she shared advice with everyone who is interested, writes CBS17. One of the secrets of longevity, Ferrell considers a positive attitude towards life and those around her.

“Treat people the way you want them to treat you,” she advises. “If others don’t treat you that way, just respect them and continue on your own path.” Another piece of advice that Catherine Ferrell gives is not to get angry or get into conflicts.

Despite her considerable age, Ferrell is in excellent physical shape. She looks great and continues to enjoy life. The woman celebrated her anniversary at home surrounded by her family and friends. She also received congratulations from the state governor and the US president.
