3 strategies to prevent heart disease from shortening your life

Another strategy that helps to prevent the development of heart diseases – follow a heart-healthy diet. This diet can help protect the heart, improve blood pressure and cholesterol levels, and reduce the risk of diabetes.

Ingredients for a healthy cardiovascular system:

  • Beans or other legumes
  • Lean meat and fish
  • Low-fat or low-fat dairy products
