4 hair problems that may indicate disorders in the body

Hair condition is a barometer of health. Certain hair problems may indicate emerging disorders and diseases.

Increased dryness. Severe dryness and brittleness of hair often indicates impaired fat metabolism, a deficiency of calcium, as well as fat-soluble vitamins A and D in the body.

Seborrhea. It can appear as a result of fungal lesions of the scalp, psoriasis, eczema, and contact dermatitis. In addition, seborrhea can be caused by a lack of calcium, copper, vitamins A, B and C in the diet, as well as dairy products. Often, seborrhea is caused by gastrointestinal disorders, which are accompanied by the abuse of salty, fatty, fried and spicy foods or alcohol.

Hair quickly becomes oily. The tendency of hair to become oily often signals a malfunction in the liver.

Hair splits. If split ends become a real problem, the damage affects a large part of the hair and does not go away, despite the cosmetic measures taken, this may be a symptom of anemia associated with iron deficiency.
