5 drinks to start your morning with
0
The way you start your morning sets the mood for the whole day. We have repeatedly talked about the importance of a proper, balanced breakfast, but these are not all the secrets of a perfect awakening. Experts unanimously recommend drinking a glass of liquid 30–40 minutes before a meal: this helps to “start” the body and set the mood for a productive day. The simplest option is water, but you can choose something more interesting to replace it. We tell you which five drinks are most useful to drink on an empty stomach.
Water
We have already talked about the need to maintain water balance throughout the day and the risks of dehydration, but why do experts recommend drinking water in the morning and on an empty stomach? The fact is that, drunk on an empty stomach, it not only starts metabolic processes and strengthens the effect on the body, but also prevents headaches and has a beneficial effect on the digestive system. A glass of clean water immediately after waking up – and you are ready for a new productive day!
Water with apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has a significant set of useful properties: it improves the work of the gastrointestinal tract, reduces appetite and cravings for sweets. Vinegar is rich in vitamins and antioxidants, thanks to which it has a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin. One of the most loyal fans of apple cider vinegar is Victoria Beckham, the drink based on it has become a mandatory morning ritual for the designer. To start the day right, add a tablespoon of vinegar to a glass of water and drink it before breakfast.
Water with lemon juice
Lemon water is often called a panacea for excess weight and is attributed almost magical properties. Of course, there is no magic in it, but the natural acids contained in the juice really help break down fats (although this will only work in conjunction with proper nutrition and physical activity). In addition to the benefits for the figure, lemon strengthens the immune system due to its high vitamin C content. An ideal solution for winter, when there is a serious risk of catching a cold.
Ginger
If you are ready to take the time to prepare a drink in the evening, try ginger water: just pour 3 tablespoons of grated ginger root with 2 liters of hot water and let it brew overnight. In the morning, the drink will give you a boost of energy and relieve swelling that appeared during sleep.
Celery juice
Celery is the record holder for the content of nutrients among vegetables. It contains vitamins A and C, B vitamins, zinc, potassium, phosphorus, antioxidants and fiber. Celery juice will help strengthen the immune system, improve skin condition and ensure normal bowel function. Take 10 minutes in the morning to prepare fresh juice, and your body will thank you. For those who find the taste of celery too bitter, we recommend adding a little carrot to the juice: this way the drink will gain in pleasure and become even more useful.
