5 unpretentious varieties of tulips

There are varieties of tulips that do not require careful care and annual digging, but the plants still they delight with flowering for many years. There are at least five varieties that are consistently praised by flower lovers.

Batalina tulip

Grows up to 15-25 cm tall. Mesmerizing rounded buds are formed by wide diamond-shaped petals with a clear pointed, but not elongated top.

The color is different: yellow, golden, orange, red. Flowering occurs in the third decade of April and lasts 3 weeks.

Two-flowered tulip

One bulb carries 2-6 peduncles 10-25 cm long. They end in white flowers with a yellow spot at the base.

Urumian tulip

One of the lowest varieties – 5-8 cm. Yellow flowers with white petal tips 2-5 cm long.

Turkestan tulip

The classic height is 10-15 cm. Flowers, the height of which is 3 cm, are white. The petals are light lilac on the outside, and white on the inside. At the base is a yellow spot.

Aushe tulip

For lovers of not too low and tall tulips. The plant grows up to 12 cm on average. The bulb produces 1-3 flowers. They are pink-lilac with a light yellow stripe on the outside of the petal in the middle and a brownish-yellow spot on the bottom inside the flower.
