5 ways to make mashed potatoes

Regular mashed potatoes are always delicious, but sometimes you want to add something new to the taste. You can not only vary the meat or fish additions, but also play with the flavors in preparing the mashed potatoes themselves.

1. Mashed potatoes with cream and cheese
Add a little cream and a handful of grated hard cheese (Parmesan, cheddar) to regular mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes will become even more tender and aromatic.

2. Garlic puree
Roast 2-3 cloves of garlic, mash them and add to the puree along with the butter.

3. Spinach puree
Add some blanched spinach and blend the puree with a blender. It will have a bright green color and a light vegetable flavor.

4. Pumpkin puree
Mix boiled potatoes with pumpkin pulp (baked or boiled). Add a little nutmeg and cream.

5. Caramelized onion puree
Fry the onion in butter until caramelized and add to the potatoes. It will add a sweet note and a new flavor to the dish.
