Scientists have found that daily consumption of 120 grams of beans for three weeks improves cholesterol levels in the human body by 10%.

The authors of the study from the University of Southern California emphasize that the consumption of foods with high potassium levels is not inferior in terms of effectiveness to taking diuretics, which are most often used to lower blood pressure.

Oatmeal. According to the Journal of the American College of Nutrition, eating 120 grams of oatmeal per day can be an effective way to lower blood pressure. In the experiment, oatmeal helped reduce high blood pressure in 75% of participants. In most, the pressure dropped by 5 mm Hg, in some volunteers – by 15 mm Hg.
