Avoid highly processed foods. According to the results of a study by French scientists, which was published in JAMA Internal Medicine, regular consumption of highly processed foods is associated with early mortality due to the development of diseases, including cancer. Every additional 10% of these products in the diet increases the risk of early death by 14%. Scientists advise: do not eat sausages and chips every day, eat kebabs and fast food no more than twice a month.
Take aspirin. A study by scientists from Newcastle University showed that daily aspirin intake halves the likelihood of developing rectal cancer. In turn, scientists from the Harvard School of Public Health stated that regular long-term intake of acetylsalicylic acid can help prevent the development of gastrointestinal cancer.
Do sports. For the effect of protection against cancer, it is enough to train twice a week. Exercise speeds up metabolism and strengthens immunity.
