7 diseases that cannot be cured

When any symptoms appear, we immediately run to the doctor in the hope that nothing is wrong. After all, there are such diseases that are either difficult to get rid of or impossible to cure at all. Moreover, the symptoms of many of them are completely banal.

Today we will talk about exactly such diseases.

Alzheimer's disease

Dementia is caused by changes in the nervous system, usually in the brain. Hence the problems with memory, thinking, judgments. A person in old age becomes like a child. And when the changes become irreversible, he will become disabled. The key causes of Alzheimer's disease are hypertension, mental work, lack of exercise, and heredity. Unfortunately, the disease is getting younger, people are facing it even after the age of 40, although the disease used to affect only people aged 70+.

But what is even worse, there is no cure for Alzheimer's. Medicines aimed at supporting and inhibiting changes in the brain are currently used.

Diabetes

Insulin deficiency or disorders in the tissues that respond to it lead to diabetes. Without insulin, the tissues do not receive enough energy, because glucose does not enter the cells. Blood sugar level increases, blood vessels, nerve fibers, skin, internal organs, retina are damaged. There are no drugs to repair the pancreas or tissue receptors, but insulin injections and blood sugar-lowering drugs can help patients.

HIV and AIDS

< p>It is impossible to cure HIV and AIDS: everyone knows this. The immunodeficiency virus infects lymphocytes, causing them to lose anti-infective protection. Changes in the body can progress to the terminal stage when AIDS develops. Immunity becomes extremely weak, so even mild infections are extremely difficult to tolerate. It should be noted that now not all patients live to AIDS, therapy allows living with HIV infection for many years. However, it is impossible to completely cure.

Parkinson's disease

With age, the disease progresses, although it does not lead to death. At the same time, against the background of the disease, various neurological complications can develop, including injuries, and this can be life-threatening. Parkinson's manifests itself in the form of shaking of the head, tremors in the hands, which only increase over time. There is no single treatment scheme, each drug is prescribed individually. But it does not cure completely.

Multiple sclerosis

Doctors do not understand the mechanism of development of the pathology, but they know that it is an autoimmune disease of the nervous system. Risk factors include genetics, ecology, viruses and their combination. Own immune cells attack own neurons, which causes them to gradually die. Symptoms include visual disturbances, general stiffness, difficulty walking, body aches and dizziness. There is no perfect treatment, although some drugs can slow the progression of the disease.

Poliomyelitis

Once upon a time, this disease was the cause of disability for a large number of children. About 15,000 children “earned” paralysis of the lower part of the body every year. Vaccinations can reduce the risk of the disease, but a cure for the disease itself has not yet been invented.

Asthma

Bronchial asthma haunts a considerable number of patients. Existing medications and therapies are designed to relieve symptoms, but do not cure completely. Shortness of breath, cough, wheezing, suffocation attacks will recur if the activity of inflammatory processes is not reduced.
