8 unnecessary products with proper nutrition

It is better to exclude fast food, fruit yogurts and salads from a healthy diet.
1. Yogurts with additives
Usual fruit yogurts will not bring any benefit. They usually contain sugar, artificial additives and flavorings. Therefore, it is better to choose natural yogurts with a short shelf life. This increases the likelihood that live lactobacilli, which regulate the water-salt and acid-base balance, will reach the intestines. However, everything is not so simple here either.
The beneficial bacteria with which yogurts are enriched may simply not reach their destination. On the way to the intestines, they meet with gastric juice, as well as with bile acids, which significantly reduce the number of viable probiotic bacteria. Therefore, it is impossible to solve the problem of intestinal dysbiosis with the help of yogurts.

2. Pasta
Ordinary wheat flour pasta is not the best choice for proper nutrition. These are easily digestible carbohydrates, which the body will quickly put aside for later in the form of fat. In addition, after eating them, hunger will not make itself wait.
Only pasta made from durum wheat is considered useful. Such products have a lower glycemic index, which means they are absorbed more slowly and do not cause a sharp jump in blood sugar.
Dietitionist Guzel Yevstigneeva recommends cooking pasta until al dente in order to preserve useful substances, trace elements and minerals as much as possible.
3. Oatmeal that does not require cooking
Instant oatmeal is not the best choice for breakfast. Porridge from bags, like muesli, may contain sugar, it provokes hunger, so a couple of hours after eating you will want to snack again. Instant cereals without additives also have a downside: important elements in such breakfasts are destroyed during production.

4. Semolina porridge
Semina porridge, a favorite since childhood, is prepared from wheat groats. It contains many simple carbohydrates that are easily absorbed by the body, which means empty calories.
In fact, semolina consists of pure starch and a small amount of protein. Porridge is quickly digested, and hunger returns, so semolina is not suitable for breakfast.
5. Juices in bags
Juices in stores are divided into direct squeezed juice, reconstituted juice, nectar and juice-containing product. It depends on the composition and cooking technology. Most packaged drinks contain significant amounts of sugar.
Even if you can find natural juice without added sugar, eating fruit in its pure form is much healthier.
I am not a fan of regular fruit juice. In fruits, sugar is in a fiber-bound state, and in juices, it is practically free. Therefore, juices have a much higher ability to influence carbohydrate metabolism than the original fruits and vegetables. So, if we talk about the benefits of juices, then only in the form of vegetable smoothies.

6. Semi-finished product
Meat and fish semi-finished products are filled with a lot of artificial flavors, dyes, flavor enhancers and sugar. Dumplings, nuggets, pancakes and cutlets are better to prepare yourself, and then freeze, so you will know exactly the composition of the dishes.
However, vegetable semi-finished products can be a salvation for residents of cities where vegetables are not grown. When properly frozen, they store much more vitamins than imported products.
7. White rice
To increase the shelf life, white rice is first cleaned and then polished, some varieties are steamed. After complex manipulations, there are not many useful substances left in the cereal, and there is no fiber in it at all.
As an alternative, nutritionists advise to pay attention to red, brown, brown or black rice.
Black rice is considered the most useful type of cereal. This is a light and satisfying product with a lot of fiber, such rice contains anti-cancer substances. Red rice normalizes the level of sugar in the blood, reduces the level of bad cholesterol.
Brown rice is recommended for those who are losing weight and suffer from diabetes, besides, it has a special nutty taste. According to its nutritional properties, brown unpolished rice is much more useful than white rice, since most of the vitamins, minerals, and amino acids are contained in the grain shell.

8. Salads from fast food restaurants
Daily consumption of vegetable salads dressed with vegetable oil is called the diet of long-lived people. But salads from fast food restaurants can hardly be included here. As a rule, they contain sauce with harmful additives. Thanks to it, the calorie content of the dish increases by 2-3 times and is equal to a regular burger.
In popular fast food chains, you can ask not to add sauce to the salad. This will make it much more useful for both health and figure.
