A resident of the American city of Newark, Edith Constance Williams, celebrated her 100th birthday. Relatives call her an amazing woman. Williams raised two daughters and was married twice. According to relatives, she continues to inspire everyone, including her sense of humor, which helps a lot when her family members do not get along.
Williams' granddaughter turned to a local newspaper with a request to congratulate her relative. She says that her grandmother is a great baker, writes Patch. Every year for Thanksgiving she would make “an amazing lemon pie.”
When the publication’s journalists asked Williams what the secret to reaching 100 years of age was, she passed on some advice through her granddaughter. The main secret, according to the long-liver, is to live life to the fullest. “Live with joy and positivity. Don’t smoke or drink alcohol. Also, try to keep moving,” Williams advised.
