A 63-year-old woman, who is expecting a child from her 26-year-old lover, has responded to criticism that she will not live to see her offspring grow up .
Sheryl McCain is already a mother of seven children and a grandmother of 17, but now she wants to give her husband Kuran, who is 37 years younger than her, a child of her own.
She first met Kuran when he came to the gas station where she worked as a cashier: “It took a while to get things going,” she told Closer magazine. “Then, after we made love for the first time, Kuran admitted that he was a virgin. I was shocked, but he said he was waiting for the right person and it made me feel so special.” She added that if he hadn't told her, she would have had no idea it was his first sexual experience.
Cheryl married her beau in September 2021 and they soon started talking about having a child together. The couple turned to a surrogate mother for help. Despite criticism, Cheryl does not doubt her ability to raise a child, because she has already raised seven children of her own.
Due to the involvement of a surrogate mother, the process was a little more complicated. Cheryl explained that the couple “usually made love every night, sometimes twice”, but because her other half had to save sperm, they didn't have sex as often. “The stress and lack of intimacy started to affect our marriage,” she said.
They also tried to find a suitable surrogate mother, as some women only wanted money.
Although Cheryl and Kuran are excited about the prospect of having a child, who is due to be born right after Christmas, not everyone shares their enthusiasm. Six of Cheryl's seven children now refuse to speak to her.
As the couple showcase their lives online, via Instagram and Kuran's OnlyFans page, they have had to deal with a barrage of negative comments after sharing their news.< /p>
But it did not pass without cruel trolling on the Internet when the couple offered to share their news on Instagram. Cheryl, whose own mother lived to be 100, explained: “People say I might not live to see our child's 18th birthday, but no one promises to see a child until they are 18 when they become parents. No one knows what may happen in the future – no matter what age they are!”.
