What does a fern need

“It is difficult to overwater such a plant” is an opinion that already contains an erroneous judgment about ferns. Any plant can be overwatered. And ferns are proof of this. With an excessive amount of liquid, the root system will begin to rot. Accordingly, the plant will stop growing and gradually die.

The fern should be watered moderately. First, the substrate in the pot should dry out, and then watering should be done. This will allow the root system to absorb the required amount of moisture, but not to stand in wet soil all the time.

In nature, the fern grows in a nutrient medium. Regularly feed your plant. The recommended frequency is once a month. And do not forget about the humidity of the air. Ferns need high humidity. Therefore, you need to either maintain the humidity level in the room using a humidifier, or periodically spray the fern with a spray bottle. And it will grow beautifully and delight with lush greenery.
